Antique aircraft owners flock to Jennings Stearman Fly-in

The End of the Season Stearman Fly-In in Jennings, which takes place the 1st weekend in October, is in full swing.

The event consists of a lot of flying for the old Stearman biplanes, a favorite among stunt pilots since they were introduced in the 1930s. The visiting pilots take part in a poker run, flour bombing and spot landing contests, and formation flying.

The events continue from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and conclude on Sunday.
