A violent home invasion in Iberia Parish in Loreauville. Officials said there has a string of robberies over the past couple of months. The latest one was late Sunday night.
Duke Milliman said, "when I got to the door, I looked through the peep hole. I looked at the people, they just pushed on through and pushed me up against the wall and held a gun to my head."
Three men made their way inside Milliman's home. Three of his children were there including his three year-old daughter Sophia.
"They came in holding guns around asking for money, guns drugs anything," he said.
Milliman said the robber's held guns to his head and his wife's and also forced his son to empty his mother's purse.
"I said look I have money, I'll give you money just leave my wife my family my kids alone," he explained. "I'll give you the money, and you can go just go"
After about five minutes inside, the suspect's left and made off with a few electronics, medication and cash.
Captain Ryan Turner with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, said "they left the residence and as deputies were responding to another call, they passed a vehicle going the opposite direction at a high rate of speed and stopped that vehicle."
The vehicle was stolen from another resident.
The deputies found 21 year old James Reed and 19 year old Aaron Benjamin inside the stole car. Officials anticipate making the third arrest soon.
