High pressure has been back building now for the last several days, and by Thursday it will more or less be sitting on Acadiana.
This will make an already quiet forecast even quieter as it will stifle most showers that try to get going.
It's never wise to rule showers out completely this time of year but they will be very scarce the rest of the work week.
Temperatures will be warming up over the next several days, and we could be hitting mid 90s by Friday.
All in all another quiet forecast with conditions staying hot and humid from now until basically the fall.
