Another Arrest in St. Martinville Murder

(St. Martinville, La.)-On August 19, 2010, the St Martin Parish Sheriff's Office made another arrest in the continuing investigation into the June 18, 2010 murder of Kalaan Ruffin. Today, charges for Second Degree Murder were filed against Jacoby Kendell Arceneaux, 26, Lafayette. Arceneaux was being held on a $500,000.00 bond at the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the charge of Obstruction of Justice related to the same investigation. Bond for the Second Degree Murder charge is set at $1,000,000.00.
