NAPOLEONVILLE, La. (AP) - The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office says a preliminary autopsy report indicates a 43-year-old man's death during a fistfight was caused by a brain aneurysm rather than a blow to the head or neck.

The Courier reports the Sheriff's Office plans to ask for grand jury consideration of whether to bring charges in the death Monday of Brett Hebert of Belle Rose.

The man who fought with and tried to revive Hebert has not been arrested.

The Sheriff's Office said Thursday that Hebert's autopsy was conducted by the New Orleans coroner's office.

Deputies said questioning of witnesses will continue. Reports will be sent to District Attorney Ricky Babin, who will present evidence including autopsy and toxicology reports to a grand jury.
