EUNICE- It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Analise Fruge Aguillard Janot announces her passing on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in the comfort of her home. She was 104. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, May 26, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Nathan Comeaux Celebrant.

Analise was a colorful person who live her life to the fullest. At the age of 16 she became a traiteur and helped many people. At the age of 100 she was the Mardi Gras Queen of St. Landry parish. She was an avid lover of Mardi Gras and loved French music but the greatest joys in her life was her family and friends especially her two daughters, Shirley Aguillard Cosper and husband, Dr. Sammie W. Cosper of Lafayette and Janet S. Janot Francois and special friend, Dr. Jack Miller of Eunice. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Caprice Cosper of Houston, Michelle M. Cosper Abshire and husband, Gary of Hixson, TN, Renee' E. Cosper Reaux and husband, Gerald "Jerry" of Lafayette, Jerome F. Heinlen, Jr. of Danbury, TX, Monique Francois of Eunice and Philip Francois and wife, Charlotte of West Monroe, and further blessed with thirteen great grandchildren, Brian and James Heinlen of Danbury, TX, Kaitlyn, Parker, and Grace Reaux of Lafayette, Christian Bishop of Houston, Alise Abshire of Hixson, TN, Brock, Brook, and Brittany of West Monroe, Bryan Frey of Opelousas, Beau and McKenzie Francois both of Eunice; two great great grandchildren, Weston Frey and Keylon Francois.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husbands, Leo Aguillard and Clarence Janot; daughter, Leola M. Aguillard Heinlen; son-in-law, Jerome F. Heinlen; her parents, Napoleon Fruge, II and Marie Amelia Courville Fruge.

Carrying Analise to her eternal resting place is Dr. Sammie W. Cosper, Jerry and Parker Reaux, Christian Bishop, Kenneth Peart, and Houston Fruge. Honorary pallbearers will include, Dr. Jack Miller, Jerome F. Heinlen, Jr., Gary M. Abshire, Philip Francois, Bryan Frey, Beau and Brock Francois. Vocalist will be Ronald J. Moreau; organist, Phyliss Simer; Violinist, Tina Pilione; gift bearers will be Shirley Cosper and Janet Francois.

At the request of the family, visitation will begin on Friday, May 25th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, May 26th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am Saturday Morning.
