At Vermilionville folks can experience an Old Time Christmas. Starting next Tuesday, the historic village of Vermilionville will being offering tours, explaining traditions and activities done during the holidays back in the 1700s and 1800s. The tours features candle making, popcorn stringing, and the singing of some good ole Christmas carols.
Anne Laughlin, Museum Opportunities Coordinator, says, "What you are going to learn about is how Christmas was celebrated during Vermilionville time, 1765 - 1890, and the answer is likely going to surprise you."
The Old Time Christmas will be held December 13th - 16th.
