A brave soldier will be laid to rest today in Acadiana.
Specialist Steven Dupont's funeral is today at Saint Joseph Catholic church in Milton at 11.
People are lining the streets before the funeral to pay their final respects.
The procession leaves the funeral home on Ferral Road. Continues onto Verot School Road to Comeaux High.
Then turns around back down Verot to Saint Joseph Catholic church.
