Amelia man sentenced to 20 years hard labor

Harold Anthony Holly (age 32, of Friendship Alley, Amelia) has been sentenced to 20 Years at Hard Labor and a $20,000 Fine for Distribution of Cocaine. On February 20, 2008, in Amelia, Harold Anthony Holly and another individual sold cocaine to an undercover agent of the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Task Force. The St. Mary Parish Narcotics Task Force did an outstanding job of taking another drug dealer off the streets. Holly had prior convictions for attempted possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of codeine, and second degree battery.
