Amber Alert Update: Family may be on a sailboat

New information on an Amber Alert for two Florida children, believed to be with their biological parents. State Police say they may now be traveling in 1972, 25 foot, Morgan Sailboat. The vessel has a registration number of FL3717BK. The boat has a blue hull, and has the name "Salty" with a picture of a paw near the back of the hull on each side. The stern has "St. Petersburg" in white lettering. It also has a blue Bimini top and when its sail is unfurled it is white with blue trim.

Last week, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an AMBER Alert for two young children after their non-custodial, biological parents abducted them from their custodial grandmother in Tampa, Florida. Louisiana State Police have issued a Level II - Endangered/Missing Advisory as the biological parents and children may be traveling to or through Louisiana.

Law enforcement is currently looking for Joshua Michael Hakken and Sharyn Patricia Hakken; their parental rights were recently terminated and they have ties in the Slidell, LA area.
