Allied Waste pick-up for morning weather conditions

Due to the mornings weather conditions, if strong winds have knocked over automated garbage carts used by Lafayette residents there will still have a chance to get pick-up services. Allied Waste will go back to service garbage carts if residents cannot wait until next week.
Next week, Lafayette residents may place bagged excess garbage on the ground for collection as part of their regular holiday service.
Allied apologizes for the inconvenience, but for safety reasons, they cannot have the single person on each automated garbage truck getting out to right garbage carts. The number to Allied Waste is 232-5730.
