Deputies arrested a man Sunday who allegedly kicked in a victim's door and physically assaulted the victim in front of the victim's two children.
Jefferson Davis Sheriff's deputies responded on Aug. 24 to a complaint call from Martin Rd. in Roanoke of an alleged home invasion that had occurred two days earlier on Aug. 22 on Cleophia Rd. in Jennings, La. The victim advised deputies that Sebastion Hanks, 21, of 3288 Cleophia Rd. Lot B forcefully made his way into the victim's residence by kicking the door in and physically assaulted the victim in front of the victim's two children who were present in the residence.
Deputies said the victim sustained injuries to the head and back as a result of the assault. Jefferson Davis Sheriff's deputies were able to obtain an arrest warrant, signed by the 31st Judicial Court Judge Steve Gunnell, on charges of 2 counts of home invasion, simple battery, aggravated battery, simple criminal damage to property, aggravated assault, and intimidation of a witness.
Hanks was located and arrested without incident and booked into Jefferson Davis Parish jail.
