All Thibodaux Officers Asked to Take Lie Detector

THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Thibodaux Police Chief Scott Silverii says
all officers in his department have been asked to take lie-detector
tests, and he's asked outside agencies to help investigate two
incidents in which a total of 54 police car tires were slashed
outside police headquarters.
Silverii tells The Courier (http://bit.ly/qSPWUm ) that a man
described as a promising suspect has failed three lie-detector
tests, but police don't have evidence to arrest him.
He says the man refused to answer questions during an interview,
and refused to take a polygraph test with an FBI machine and
analyst.
The tires were slashed May 5 in an area without security cameras
and June 3 in an area with cameras - but the vandal stayed out of
view.
