ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - The manager of an Alexandria business is facing charges that she stole money from daily deposits, according to a release.
Police arrested 29-year-old Shelley Bordelon of Alexandria on Friday. She was booked with 27 counts of felony theft more than $1,500, 11 counts of felony theft between $500 and $1,500 and one count of theft under $500.
Police say Bordelon's arrest follows an investigation that started after the victim from the unnamed business noticed that daily deposits were coming up short over the past several months and reported it to police.
The total amount of money missing still is under investigation.
It was unclear whether Bordelon has an attorney.
