Aid office set up in St. Bernard

CHALMETTE, La. (AP) - St. Bernard Parish officials say a disaster assistance office has been set up at the St. Bernard Civic Center. Residents can apply for aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency or through the Small Business Administration. The office is open until 5 p.m. on Monday, then will be open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. 7 days a week thereafter. More information is available from FEMA at 1-800-621-3362 or online at www.fema.gov.
