THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Louisiana farmers had a chance to air their worries and opinions to a top official from the Department of Agriculture in Thibodaux.
Tuesday's Courier (http://bit.ly/pqqMi9 ) reported that Ann Mills, the deputy undersecretary for natural resources and environment, held a roundtable discussion with the state's farmers at the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center.
Monday's meeting was part of a series of roundtable meetings the USDA will hold with farmers and ranchers across the country to hear their opinions on agricultural policies and programs.
