The Acadiana Film Festival is taking over Downtown Lafayette starting today.
Now in its fourth year the AFF returns to Downtown Lafayette from November 11-14 for four days of screenings, panels, workshops, seminars, networking and parties.
Founded by Jana Godshall in 2006, AFF is an international independent festival that explores the intersection between entertainment and technology, concentrating on the basic premise and future of motion pictures. AFF strives to provide a platform for independent filmmakers and musicians to present their original work while creating a forum that joins together artist and industry professionals and educates the public and promotes the entertainment industry in Louisiana.
Majority of the festival's events are free and open to the public thanks to support from local businesses as well as the city. For more information and a schedule of events visit www.acadianafilm.org.
