LAFAYETTE, La. - The American Advertising Federation of Acadiana (AAF-Acadiana) will host AdBay, its annual media auction, from May 27-31, 2013 online at AdBayAuction.org. In addition to the local newspapers, radio stations, television stations and magazines that have donated advertising space, several area artists have provided original material that will be auctioned online to the highest bidder(s).
As most items will be auctioned for a fraction of their actual cost in the marketplace, AdBay is a great opportunity for those businesses and organizations that have limited advertising budgets to have access to prime media placement or services to help grow their business.
Proceeds from AdBay will support the AAF-Acadiana, the local professional organization for advertising, design and marketing professionals.
"This auction helps AAF-Acadiana provide educational workshops, luncheon programs and student scholarships to keep both current and future advertising professionals networked and in touch with the latest in advertising advances," said Daniel Kedinger, immediate past president.
