Advancial Federal Credit Union has been awarded the Integrity Award by the BBB (Better Business Bureau) of Acadiana for 2012.
"Advancial is honored to have been selected as a finalist of the 2012 BBB Integrity Award," said Brent Sheffield, President and CEO of Advancial. "Advancial operates under a corporate culture of treating customers and employees as we would want to be treated ourselves. We live and work in our communities and conduct ourselves so we are proud once we walk outside our work doors."
The Integrity Award is earned by a business that has gained the respect of the community through programs that promote ethical business practices and principals. Nominated businesses must be located and/or conduct business in Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin or Vermilion Parish.
"Out of the five awards given by the BBB I'm most pleased Advancial earned the Integrity Award," said Arlene LeBlanc, Business Relations Manager. "In order to earn this honor we were nominated by local businesses in Lafayette, which showcases our strong ties in the community and the high ethical standards our business partners hold us to."
The other awards included on the BBB roster are Outstanding New Business Award, Customer Commitment Award, Good Neighbor Award and Ethie Award. The BBB's Mission statement is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.
