Accident claims the life of man, 62

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police are investigating a single vehicle accident that claimed the life of a 62-year-old man.
The accident happened shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday on the Broad Street ramp at Earhart Boulevard.
Police say the unidentified driver of a Ford F-150 pickup was travelling southbound on Earhart, when his truck left the roadway and hit a guardrail. Investigators say the driver who was still strapped in the driver's seat was pronounced dead on the scene.
