Acadiana's Thrifty Mom Rachel Mouton has a son who is sensitive to dairy products. In true thrifty fashion, she started researching ways to save money on soy milk and found a way to make her own for about $1 per gallon! She says you can also make almond or rice milk with the machine she found. She isn't advocating one brand milk-making machine over another; she found one she likes and encourages you to do the same if this is a project you'd like to do to save money.
