Acadiana Kickoff Tour: Vermilion Catholic

With the departure of Trev Faulk to Northside, the Vikings welcomed in head coach Richard "Roch" Charpentier but after an arrest for a DWI led Vermilion Catholic to suspend the head coach. Russ Kuhn was named the head man. Kuhn is a former Wisconsin Badger who blocked for Heismann Winner Ron Dayne. Although the suspension came as a surprise, Kuhn says the Screamin' Eagles won't miss a beat. With a the versatile Jacoby Davis coming back VC will be one of the favorites to win the district. Davis put on around 10 pounds in the off-season and hasn't missed a beat.
