After a successful one year stint at Vermilion Catholic, Trev Faulk is back in Lafayette. The former Lafayette HS, LSU and NFL linebacker takes over Northside High after 11 year head coach Vincent DeRouen was let go unexpectedly this summer. Faulk comes back to the Vikings after serving as an assistant at Northside previously.
Faulk will bring the same spread offense and attacking defense that helped propel Vermilion Catholic to the 1A Semifinals a year ago. Expectations will be high for Northside despite the Vikings winless 2011.
