Acadiana Kickoff Tour: Catholic New Iberia

Last year the Catholic Panthers shocked the world when they came on the scene and went all the way to the State quarterfinals. This year will be a different story, now with a target on their back everyone will be on the look out for Keith Menard's Panthers.

The offense brings back their All-District quarterback Joe Lissard. And he will have back his go to receiver, Gabe Fusilier. Look for a lot of fire power on offense. Lissard and Fusilier worked very hard in the off-season, throwing nearly every day this summer.

On the defensive side of things, the Panthers lose two Division I signees. They will have players playing on both sides of the ball which is something they didn't have to do last season. Fatigue and youth on defense could hurt them. Not too mention they have a very tough non district schedule.

All things aside look for the Panthers to have a great season behind Lissard and Fusilier and make another run at the dome.
