"Rebuilding" is a term used loosely by teams that don't return many starters. Acadiana High could very well make that argument. Afterall, Ted Davidson's crew returns just three starters on each side of the ball. But thanks to a very talented group of underclassmen, the Wreckin' Rams could be up to their usual winning ways if Acadiana grows up quick.
Last year's starting cornerback DeEdward Cormier moves to offense to quarterback the Acadiana "Veer Machine". He'll be joined by a pair of backs with some experience in Cardaye Spencer and Shane Francis. Cormier's top targets will be sophomore Bry'Keithen Mouton and juniors Michael Hollier and Blason Abshire. The offensive line returns one starter from last year, Chad Harris.
Defensive standout Claude George moves from end to linebacker in an effort to utilize the senior's speed. DE Jamal Robinson and LB Keavon Franklin are the other returners for the Terrible Turks. While the Ram defense won't be the size it has become accustomed to, Acadiana will rely on team speed to shut down the opposition.
