Acadiana Group Home Shut Down By Social Services

A group home in Acadiana has lost its operating license.

The state has cited the business for at least 10 infractions, violations including: inadequate supervision and staffing and failure to report when residents escaped.

The Vermillion Group Home received a notice from the State Department of Social Services this week.
