Acadiana was able to pick up some much needed rainfall over the last 24 hours as Lafayette Regional recorded almost an inch and a half from the most recent round of wet weather.
Since the atmosphere will stay juicy through the remainder of the weekend it's not unreasonable to think that we may pick up a little more rain.
Sunday looks to be mostly cloudy but despite the clouds it appears most of the showers will hold off until the afternoon and even then it will be mainly scattered activity and should hover east of the Basin.
Plenty of moisture will hang around, however, and humidity will stay rather high over the next few days.
Next front is expected to move through mid week, but as models are varying wildly on timing the exact time remains to be seen.
