Acadia Parish Sheriff's Investigate 15 Year Old's Death

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a 15 year old girl from Jeff Davis Parish.
Deputies were called early Sunday morning to the Mermentau Bridge for reports that a girl was not breathing. The 15 year old was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Right now it is believed that alcohol was a contributing factor in her death, but the investigation is still underway.
