Acadia Parish Seeking Information in Aluminum Theft Valued at $20,000

Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for $20,000 in Aluminum spacers stolen from installation site.

On April 8th and April 12th on Standard Mill Road just West of Highway 35, Deputies began investigating a felony theft. Deputies say that Highline Contractors is currently installing new electrical high lines in various areas of Acadia Parish and on the listed dates, over 30 boxes of 3/8" Aluminum Spacers from the job site were stolen. Deputies say these spacers are an aluminum rod which is twisted into a U shape. The value of this theft is over $20,000.
