Acadia Parish Police Looking for Victims of Burglary Suspect

New information tonight in the arrest of a Baton Rouge man caught on tape breaking into a home in Acadia Parish. Acadia Parish deputies say additional charges have been filed against Dennis Hanks, 57, of Baton Rouge following his arrest and the continued investigation into several residential burglaries.

Hanks remains in the Acadia Parish Jail charged with three counts of burglary of an inhabited dwelling and two counts of aggravated assault. His bond has been set at $155,000.

The investigation continues as Detectives are still trying to identify victims.

As of this date over 15 weapons have been recovered and many of the owners have been identified. Investigators are still working and hope to identify the owners of seven weapons recovered during the investigation.
