Acadia Parish DWI Checkpoint

Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon advises that members of the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office DWI Task Force will team up with members of the Rayne Police Department to conduct a check point on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 9:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the parish.
Melancon stated that members of the Task Force will be looking for impaired drivers as well as seat belt violations.
