Acadia Parish Drug Arrests

Agents with the Acadia Parish Narcotics Strike Force report the following recent arrests:
 
Marquel D. Gordon Sr., 32, Jennings, arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
 
Following the arrest of Kacie Comeaux, 27, Rayne, by Rayne PD, agents arrested and charged her if possession of crack cocaine.
 
Antonio Smith, 20, Crowley, arrested and charged with 2 counts of distribution of crack cocaine. Bond set at $70,000.
 
Assisting the Patrol Division, agents arrested Phillip Meaux Jr., 24, Gueydan. Mr. Meaux was charged with possession of oxycodone and possession of clonazepam. Bond set at $10,000.
 
Following the arrest of Alex Wheeler, 27, Grand Coteau, by Crowley PD, agents charged Mr. Wheeler with possession of Hydrocodone and simple possession of marijuana.

 
Agents assisted Church Point PD with the following arrests:
 
Eric Thierry, 20, Church Point arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Michael Handy, 25, also of Church Point charged with possession of marijuana.

Justin Savoy, 24, Church point, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, possession of lorcet and possession of alprazolam. Bond was set at $10,000.
 
Joseph Michael Babineaux, 36, Church Point, arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of hydrocodone. Bond set at $28,000.  
 
Following a vehicle accident in Church Point, agents arrested Derek Duplechain, 27, of Sunset, La. and Pierce Pitre, 17 of Opelousas, La. Both were charged with possession of adderal and possession of marijuana.
 
Pamela Leger, 27, of Church Point, arrested and charged with distribution of alprozolam. Bond set at $10,000.
Angel Lavergne, 26, Church point, arrested and charged with possession of oxymorphone, possession of roxicodone, possession of hydrocodone, and possession of alprozolam. Bond set at $13,000.
 
Robert Wheeler, 18, Church Point arrested and charged with possession of alprozolam and criminal trespass. Bond set at $25,000.
 
Michael Matte, 26, Church Point, arrested and charged with possession of alprozolam.
  
The following were issued citations for simple possession of marijuana:
 
Brandon Babineaux, 33, Church Point
Christopher Guillory, 18, Church Point
Lashona Spencer, 27, Church Point
