According to ABC News, two American sailors kidnapped by pirates off the coast of Nigeria last month were released over the weekend and are on their way home. They are citing U.S. officials with the information.
ABC is reporting the civilians were freed after a ransom payment was negotiated. Both were safe and healthy, according to the officials.

The Louisiana based company, Edison Chouest Offshore, owned the ship at the center of the kidnapping case. They were attacked October 23rd, and the two Americans were taken from the rest of the crew.
