Abbeville Police investigating a shooting

The Abbeville Police Department is currently investigating a shooting which resulted in one subject transported to Abbeville General Hospital. The shooting occurred around 10:00 PM on 4/7/11 near the intersection of Alley and Cherokee Streets. Officers are currently looking for persons of interest in this matter and will release further information later today.
