On January 14th an electrical fire claimed Debbie Loignon's Abbeville home and just days later her husband, Joseph Loignon died from heart complications. Loignon and her family are now living with a relative, and her husband's body is still at the Vermilion Parish Morgue. She says after the fire destroyed everything she owns, she couldn't afford to bury her soul mate. "I don't even have insurance to get my medicine. I don't have money and I'm out of my medicine now," said Lognon. Her husband didn't have life insurance. Loignon says her plan is to raise enough money to get her husband cremated.
