The Vermilion / Municipal Narcotics Task Force with the assistance of the Abbeville Police Department K-9 division arrested four people on drug charges. Spokesperson Drew David says the bust happened March 10 in Abbeville.
The task force started working undercover "when they received information that several subjects were allegedly taking part in illegal drug activity on Eve St." said David.
Forty-nine-year-old Barry Charles Guidry of 714 Eve St. Abbeville La arrested for possession of Xanax, a Schedule IV narcotic, total bond was set at $3,000.00. Thirty-eight-year old Todd Menard of 715 Eve St. Abbeville, arrested for possession of Marijuana. Total bond set was $1,000.00, Fifty-year-old Darold Dupuis of 7715 La HWY 700 Kaplan La, arrested for possession of Schedule III narcotic Hydrocodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Total bond set at $6,000.00 with several outstanding warrants yet to be executed. Forty-year-old Toshia Clay of 7715 La Hwy 700 Kaplan arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Total bond set at $1,000.00
