A State panel recommends new batch of high school Biology textbooks

A state panel is recommending that Louisiana's top education board adopt a new batch of high school Biology textbooks. That's despite complaints that evolution is included in those books.
An advisory council, made up of educators and lawmakers, voted 8 to 4 to recommend the new books. The State Board of Education will make a final decision next month.
