I hope everyone hasn't put away their jackets just yet, as we could be in for another quick shot of some winter like temperatures.
A series of cold fronts will drive the highs down into the upper 50s and with few clouds at night lows will be getting close to freezing for the weekend. Acadiana has struggled to get cold this year with only a handful of freezes in December.
Since then we have stayed away from the freezing mark, and this could be our last chance for the season. Sunday morning looks to be the coldest morning of the week and after that temperatures will be quick to rise.
By mid week, next week, we will be back to seasonal with highs reaching up into the low 70s and upper 60s.
