A New Iberia bridge will close today for two years

In traffic talk, drivers in Iberia Parish listen up!
The Jefferson Street Bridge in New Iberia will close today for two years. The bridge was built in 1943 and needs to be replaced. The new bridge will have a sidewalk, and vintage lampposts to give it a more historic feel.
