Most rain has come to an end this evening but we are not in the clear. The chance for redeveloping showers and thunderstorms late overnight into early tomorrow morning. Coverage not looking as much as today, yet expecting a good 50/50 shot at seeing rain anywhere in Acadiana. Raincoats continuing to be part of our wardrobes as our forecast remains soggy.
A slight change possible by late this weekend into early next week as upper level ridging pushes in from the east. This should limit the wide coverage rainfall and put Acadiana closer to typical summer daytime showers (30/40%). This will also allow temps to gradually be warmer as we start to see a little more sunshine during the day.
