The African Diaspora Heritage Trail (ADHT) is an initiative spear headed by a former Bermuda Minister of Tourism Minister David Allen, who had a vision for the world to have an appreciation and acceptance of the heritage of Africa and the African Diaspora. The Foundation seeks to establish heritage trails linking Diaspora traditions across all continents by developing a network of collaborators, who identify, build, finance, promote and market heritage trail destinations. The annual international conferences have been held in Africa, the Caribbean and Canada. This is the first time that the ADHT conference has been held in the United States. It will take place from Oct. 9-12, 2013.
