911 call minutes before man is shot to death

Mason's parents have filed a lawsuit against the officer who shot him, the city and police chief. On Dec. 9, 2011, Mason, was shot and killed when leaving his girlfriend's apartment at Campus Crossings on Theatre Dr. The lawsuit alleges, among other things, that the officer used excessive and unreasonable force.
