10-Year-Old Hit Near Himbola Apartments In Lafayette

Lafayette Police are investigating an accident involving a 10-year-old boy in Lafayette.
At approximately 3:30 PM, Police received the call to the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
The boy, who's identity is being withheld, ran into path of a van traveling eastbound. The van struck the boy and trapped him underneath.
He was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for moderate injuries.
