The 7th Annual Walk for Hope is benefiting the Autism Society Acadiana and will be held at Parc International on Saturday, March 23 from 8am-12pm. This annual spring fundraiser allows families to come out and walk, while helping the Autism Society. It is a one-mile walk through downtown and is expected to start at 9:30 a.m. The registration fee is $20, which includes the walk and the festivities afterward. After the walk, there will be complimentary food such as hamburgers, sausage poboys, hot dogs, jambalaya and many other dishes which are prepared for families to enjoy. There will also be music provided by a DJ along with fun jumps and face painting activities. This Walk for Hope will be kicking off Autism Awareness Month which is in April.
