72-year-old woman killed in her home

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say a 72-year-old woman who sold candy and soft drinks from her home was found bleeding on her kitchen floor, and died shortly after police arrived.
Officer Hilal Williams says the woman had been cut or stabbed multiple times.
She says two would-be customers found the woman on the floor and called police Sunday afternoon.
She lived in the Algiers area, on New Orleans' west bank.
Her name was being withheld until her family could be notified.
