7 Acadiana Volleyball Teams Make Trek to Kenner

Seven Acadiana teams are still alive in the hunt for a Volleyball championship this weekend. St. Thomas More (II), Notre Dame (III) and Episcopal School of Acadiana (V) are all still alive as top seed in their divisions.  Cinderella 12-seed Ascension Episcopal makes the school's first trip to the Ponchartrain Center in Kenner.  St. Martin Parish has the most representatives from the area with two:  Breaux Bridge and Cecilia.  Catholic of New Iberia rounds out the group of area teams.  Quarterfinal action gets underway Thursday with action culminating with the State Finals Saturday.

1. St. Thomas More vs. 9. Sam Houston - Thursday Court #2 11:45AM
5. Breaux Bridge vs. 13. Pearl River/4. Cabrini Winner - Thursday Court #2 6:45 PM

Division III Quarterfinals
1. Notre Dame vs. 9. Parkview Baptist/8. Lutcher - Thursday Court #3 11:45 AM
7. Cecilia vs. 15. Jennings/2. Ursuline - Thursday Court #2 8:30 PM

Division IV Quarterfinals
4. Catholic (NI) vs. 5. Sacred Heart (NO)/21. Berwick - Thursday Court #2 3:15 PM

Division V Quarterfinals
1. ESA vs. 9. Ascension Catholic - Thursday Court #1 10:00 AM
12. Ascension Episcopal vs. 4. Catholic (PC) - Thursday Court #3 10:00 AM
