62 Cars Vandalized Overnight in Lafayette

Lafayette Police are investigating an overnight vandalism spree. Some residents at The Landing Apartment Complex on Kaliste Saloom Road and Eagle Run Apartments on South College Road reported that their car tires were slashed overnight. Some also said their cars were keyed. 48 vehicles were hit at The Landing and 14 were damaged at Eagle Run.

Based on the type of damage at both locations, police believe the incidents could be connected. We'll have more on this story tonight at 5:30 and 10. In the meantime, if you have any information on these crimes, call CrimeStoppers at 232-TIPS.
