'57 graduate gave $1.5 million to Loyola

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A gift from a 1957 graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans will help the university enhance business education.
Carlos Ayala (ah YAH' lah) made arrangements for the gift prior to his death earlier this year, the university said in a news release Monday.
Ayala made the $1.5 million gift to Loyola's College of Business to support its finance program. A portion of the gift will add $900,000 to an existing student-managed investment fund.
