Chris Masson threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Marlin Miller with 27 seconds remaining to give Louisiana a 38-34 victory over North Texas on Saturday night.
The Ragin' Cajuns (3-2, 1-0 Sun Belt Conference) trailed 34-24 entering the final quarter, but drove 80 yards on 17 plays to set up Brad McGuire's 1-yard sneak with 9:26 left.
After holding the Mean Green (1-4, 0-2) on their next two possessions, Louisiana-Lafayette drove from its 42 to the winning score, with a fourth-down holding penalty keeping the drive alive.
Lance Dunbar rushed for 184 yards and scored all four touchdowns for North Texas, which has lost 13 straight Sun Belt games. His 1-yard touchdown run with 3:51 left in the third quarter gave the Mean Green a 34-24 lead.
Undrea Sails led the Ragin Cajuns with 93 yards and two touchdowns.
Louisiana's Dwight Bentley had two interceptions.
