Red, White & BOOM will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 from 5pm-9:30pm. in Downtown Lafayette. Numerous contests will be held. Festivities will continue in Parc Sans Souci where Acadiana Symphony is hosting the Conservatory KidZone filled with water slides, face painting, arts and crafts, balloon animals, costume contests, and much more water filled fun for kids! Parents can enjoy a broadcast of Marcia Ball and the ASO performance while their children play and keep cool in the Conservatory KidZone. The celebration has also expanded into Parc Putnam where local bands will be celebrating the 4th of July at "Freedom Fest!"
Gates open and festivities begin at 5:00 pm. The Grand Finale Fireworks show will take place at approximately 9:30 pm. A $5 admission fee to Red, White and BOOM! gives patrons access to all three parcs. In collaboration with Food Net of Lafayette, ASO is offering free concession tickets for canned food donations brought to the celebration. All proceeds from Red, White and Boom! benefit ASO's children's education programs. Parc Passes will be available at the gate or may be purchased in advance at the ASO Box office located at 412 Travis Street in the Oil Center.

Our Savior's Church
Our Savior's Church Independence celbration will be July 4th at 1201 E Broussard Rd Lafayette, LA 70508. The event begins at 6:00 and ends at 9:30pm. The fireworks display will be at 9:00 and is a 25 minute display. There will be music, fun jumps, games, and a SPECTACULAR fireworks display to top it all off. As a part of the fun, OSC will be hosting its first OSC Olympics between the Broussard, Lafayette and Opelousas campuses! Come out and represent your campus! We will also be joining in prayer for our nation, and it's leaders. Bring your trucks, tents, and food to tail-gate the night away. Fourth of July fireworks Wednesday, July 4 in St. Eunice at 9 p.m. at the Eunice Recreation Complex, 461 Sittig St. Admission is free.
The JC Melancon Band plays live music at the Independence Day Celebration from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Nall Park in Krotz Springs. Fireworks and patriotic music follow the performance. Hot dogs and soft drinks will be available.
The firework display will be on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Lake Palourde at 9PM.
